President Dobbins talks campus renovations

Southeast Missouri State University is preparing for a large renovation project of several buildings on campus, including Academic Hall, the science facilities, and the power plant.

There’s going to be a lot of construction … and a lot of offices will temporarily move to new locations.

KRCU's Jacob McCleland interviewed one of those individuals who will soon be transplanted by the renovation work, Southeast President Ken Dobbins.

The president also discusses the upcoming University Speaker's Series which will feature Cal Ripkin, Jr. and James Lewis from the Center for Strategic and International Studies.

President Dobbins also talks about course redesign efforts and about a bill that was introduced into the Missouri Senate that would require that universities receive MOHELA approving for borrowing.
